Introduction

CaseLines is the Cloud Based Legal Document Management System.  

 

With CaseLines you can:

 

  1. Create and organise legal document bundles.
  2. Search the content of the bundle.
  3. Disclose the bundle to others
  4. Download and print the bundle.

 

CaseLines is secure and online, accessible through an internet connection and a browser.

Objectives

This training guide will show you how to use CaseLines.  

 

When you have completed the training you will be able to:

 

  1. Load client documents into CaseLines.
  2. Organise the bundle index.
  3. Create a front page.
  4. Invite others to help you work on the bundle, have access to the index or search the contents.
  5. Produce a final copy of the document bundle.

Use these guides to work with eBundles in a Civil Litigation court environment.  There is a guide for  litigants approaching the court with an eBundle, for the court registrar who has been asked to receive an eBundle and for the Judge who wants to access an eBundle before and during the trial.

Litigant's Quick Start Guide
With CaseLines you create a bundle of documents called a “case”. Once the case has been created you apply pagination, redaction, conduct searches, download it, share it with a colleague, give collaborative access to another party, add late arriving documents with sub-numbering and print for a hearing.

CaseLines is accessible from internet enabled locations including the office, court room and home. This means that litigants and their representatives no longer need to carry paper bundles.

A case contains sections and each section contains documents. Each document receives a descriptive title and date plus other information to identify it’s place in the final paginated bundle.
